ICF LITHUANIA CHAPTER MEMBER GUIDE
This guide is designed to help you navigate the ICF Lithuania community more easily: to understand opportunities, ways to get involved, and find what is most relevant to you at the moment.
ICF (International Coaching Federation) aims to strengthen the quality, professionalism, and impact of coaching worldwide, where coaching helps people and societies thrive.
The ICF Lithuania Chapter (hereinafter – ICF Lithuania) brings together coaching professionals who have chosen ICF membership within the Lithuanian chapter and encourages collective growth, experience sharing, and the strengthening of coaching culture in Lithuania, based on ICF values, ethics, and professional standards.
This guide is an invitation for both new members and those who have been renewing their membership for years—not only to learn more about membership opportunities and value but also to become active ambassadors of ICF coaching.
Membership in ICF Lithuania provides the opportunity to:
- be part of a strong professional community,
- participate in events and meetings,
- learn and grow יחד with other coaching professionals,
- practice, share experiences, and receive feedback,
- contribute to initiatives and actively co-create the community,
- strengthen your credibility and recognition as a coaching professional in the market,
- access international ICF resources, practices, and opportunities.
Community Meetings (once a month, in person or online)
This is one of the easiest ways to get to know the community and explore relevant topics. These meetings include reflection, experience sharing, and learning. Sessions are held in Lithuanian or English and feature both local and international speakers. Some meetings are organized together with other ICF Global chapters to foster connection among members. Participation is free for ICF Lithuania members.
ICF Coaching Conference
One of the most important annual events (traditionally held in November), bringing together representatives from coaching, business, and education. The conference offers an opportunity to hear new ideas, explore global trends, and experience coaching in practice, while also fostering connections and demonstrating coaching’s impact beyond the community. ICF Lithuania members receive special participation conditions.
International Coaching Week (ICF Global)
Every May, ICF Global organizes International Coaching Week worldwide. It is a time when coaching communities invite people to explore coaching principles, methods, and impact. During this week, participants can attend various events (most of them free), develop coaching competencies, discover the latest trends, explore research supporting coaching impact, and engage with peers from different countries.

ENGAGEMENT IN ICF LITHUANIA ACTIVITIES
The ICF Lithuania community operates on a volunteer and co-creation basis. All activities are driven by member initiative and support.
In addition to structured activities, members are invited to informal interactions (e.g., Christmas meetups near city trees or summer initiatives like “Invite an ICF friend for ice cream”). Sometimes, it only takes a small step—sending a message, inviting someone for a conversation, or proposing an idea.
